Sizing: Products are sized according to your pets neck measurement. To order the correct size, please measure your pets neck and choose the size below accordingly. You want a loose measure not tight. If in between sizes, order the larger size.
Rows: How do I know how many rows to order? Smaller dogs and most cats will do best with a single row of herbs. All other dogs/cats should go with the standard 2 row width.

Common Questions
How Do the Calming Collars work? The Calming Collars work by way of aromatherapy. The scent of the herbs used have been tested for their effectiveness on both dogs and cats. Only dried herbs are used (NO essential oils or fillers). Your dog or cat smells the herb blend to feel more relaxed.
How Do I Know What Size to Order? Sizing goes by neck measurement. Carefully measure your dog or cats neck. You want to aim for a loose, comfortable fit. If your pet is in between sizes, it is best to order the bigger size. This will allow for more herbs to be used in their collar.
How Do I Know What Width to Order? Most pets do well with the standard 2 rows. However, most cats do better with a single row.
How Long Will the Herbs Last? The shelf life of the herbs depends on how much they are exposed to the air and dry out. In most cases, if the collar is worn 24/7, the herbs will last roughly 3 to 4 months. If worn just a few times per week and stored in a plastic bag when not in use, the herbs may last a year or longer. Be sure to keep plastic bag in a dark, dry place when not in use. As time goes on, you can roll the collar in your hands and crush the herbs to help release more of their natural oils.
How Do I Clean My Calming Collar? We recommend surface cleaning the outer cotton part of the collar with a damp cloth or paper towel. The herbs can get a tad damp but be careful not to get them soaking wet.
Will a Calming Collar Work for My Pet? Well, we sure hope so 😊 Odds are that it will. The collars have a better than 95% success rate (according to the manufacturer) but they won’t help every animal with every situation. Every pet is different and have varying degrees of stress and anxiety.
What if My Dog Eats His Collar? Although this is definitely not recommended…and if you have a chewer, it is best to test drive how they do with the collar while you are home and can monitor them. However, according to the manufacturer the herbs are not harmful if ingested. The herbs are food grade. However, please do not leave dog unattended and monitor your dog.
Can My Dog or Cat Wear a Calm Me Down Collar 24/7? Yes, indeed. Many customers do just that. Keep in mind that the herbs will dry out more quickly (about 3-4 months) but should help your pet be more mellow.
Will These Collars Really Work on Cats too? Yes indeed. The bigger challenge is getting a cat to get used to wearing a collar around their neck. If your cat is used to wearing some sort of collar they should do fine. A mellow kitty in the making! Most cats do better with the single row width.
